What the Brand Is
KIM’S GOLD DUST is a small business, in operation for over 23 years and licensed General Motors licensee that specializes in Corvette, Camaro, and Chevy Bowtie themed jewelry. We sell a range of products including bracelets, rings, pendants, earrings, charms, money clips and more in materials such as sterling silver, 14k gold (yellow, rose or white), genuine leather, carbon fiber, titanium and stainless steel. Our offerings feature Corvette, Camaro and Chevy Bowtie logos and other car body profile pieces like rear views, side views and front ends. We have a heart-shaped jewelry collection for all Corvette generations and Camaro. Our Corvette Signature pieces replicate the one-of-a-kind General Motor’s fonts that were used to create the brand logos.

This C7 Corvette Rear View Pendant features the intricate detail in our pieces. There are ten genuine rubies that brilliantly mimic taillights. Crafted with precision, the pendant measures 1-1/4″ wide and is available in sterling silver or 14k yellow gold. It comes with the option to personalize the license plate with letters, numbers or gemstones. To make it more unique, diamonds can be added to the exhaust tips.
This C8 Corvette Onyx Pendant is another beautiful piece. Made in sterling silver or 14k gold, it measures 3/4″ wide, with an overall length of 1-3/8″. The polished black onyx background beautifully complements the vibrant C8 emblem enameled in red, black, and yellow. This men’s C8 Corvette Enameled Diamond Ring is in a league of its own when it comes to combining luxury and horsepower. Show DeLorean Pendant video
An avid DeLorean owner commissioned us to make a small-scale replica of his car in 14k yellow gold. To make it more affordable, the car was hollow inside but still a heavy piece of gold. He was absolutely amazed by the detail that we were able to capture from the photos that he provided.
Show Diamond StingRAY ring
Customer “Ray” asked us to do a custom C7 Corvette Stingray diamond ring. He said, “the more diamonds, the better” and so we did a play on his name (RAY) and Corvette StingRAY and created this fine jewel. He was thrilled with his ring.

Long time friend, Tracy Gaudu asked to do a special C6 Z06 Corvette bracelet and wears it all the time while she’s racing her orange C6 Z06. Her favorite racing number is 141 and here’s the photo of that custom piece she absolutely loved along with her Corvette race car. She’s a one-woman race team that competes in Super Unlimited W2W with NASA-SE and hillclimbs with SCCA.
Warranty — We offer a lifetime warranty on all manufacturing defects for jewelry that we produce. This does not include normal wear, chipped or lost stones, and damaged items. Shanks and prongs will wear down over time and will require maintenance. We recommend that jewelry be inspected at least once a year so that needed repairs can be detected before worse damage occurs or stones are lost.
Who runs it / Background
- The business is owned by Kimberly N. Porter, an avid Corvette owner for over 45 years and former Camaro IROC-Z owner for 10 years. The seed for KIM’S GOLD DUST was planted back in June 1980 with my purchase of a 1960 Honduras Maroon Corvette. It was to be a “driver and fun” car. All it needed was a good paint job to be road worthy. My mom and I looked at each other and knew we were both thinking the same thing! We’ve got to have that car! The next day we trailered the car home and then we named it “Baby Jaws”. The grill and side cove spears reminded us of a shark. - After much blood, sweat and tears on an eight-year restoration of “Baby Jaws”, it won many major awards. To reward myself for these achievements at select shows, I would purchase a piece of Corvette jewelry from the Henry Paul booth. What’s closer to a woman’s heart?! Henry was an avid Corvette lover and the original Corvette jewelry maker (General Motor’s Licensee). I loved the quality and amount of detail he put into his pieces. I rewarded myself with many.
- In 2003, I was downsized from the company I worked for. At that time, I decided it was time to take a risk and combine my hobby with my love for Corvette jewelry. So, KIM’S GOLD DUST started as a distributor for Henry Paul’s Jewelry.
- In 2013, Henry Paul retired and I was asked by General Motors to become the GM Jewelry Licensee. Wow, what an honor for them to ask! My high attention to detail, great customer service and hard work to assist Henry with designs was now coming to fruition. Love of these cars has always been a huge part of my life. Designing, producing and selling this jewelry to those who also appreciate it is a reflection of my passion.
